Imagine – Stephen Hawking, who some have called the “Einstein of Today,” preaching in the inner city streets of London – wearing a sandwich board sign that proclaims, “Repent for the End is Near.”

Does that sound unlikely to happen? Well maybe, considering that Mr. Hawking just wrote in his new book: “The Grand Design,” – that the laws of physics really don’t need a God to explain the creation (or the destruction) of the universe: “Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist. It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going” (Stephen Hawking).

However, many other scientists these days are taking more of a prophetic position when discussing 2012. There are presently 7 zealous groups (see below) preaching that the end of days will come in less than 26 months (December, 2012), and 5 of these groups – are from the scientific community.

7 Signs Predicting the End of Days in 2012

1. The Earth’s Magnetic Field – Scientists predict that the earth’s magnetic fields (north and south poles) that shield us from most of the sun’s radiation will swap places in 2012, causing enough ultraviolet rays to kill everything that it touches (nasa.gov).

2. Sun Storms – Solar experts from around the world who monitor the sun are reporting that solar storms have recently been bombarding the earth with a lot of radiation energy that has been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. They are calculating that this activity will get worse and predict that it will reach its deadly peak in the year 2012 (nasa.gov).

3. Super Volcano – Scientists report that the Yellowstone National Park volcano in the United States is steadily building up pressure. It has a pattern of erupting every 700,000 years, and we are way overdue. Geologists are predicting its next Big Bang in 2012, will fill the atmosphere with ash, block the sun and plunge the earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 17,000 years (nasca.org).

4. The Atom Smasher – European Scientists are building the world’s biggest particle accelerator designed to smash atoms together to find out what makes the universe tick. Scientists around the world are predicting disastrous results when this machine is turned on for its first serious experiment in 2012. They believe that it could create mini black holes that would crush the earth into a super-dense blob the size of a watermelon (cbsnews.com).

5. The Physicists – Berkley University physicists have determined that the earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event, and they have calculated and predicted with a 99% certainty that we’re all going to die in 2012 (millerinstitute.berkeley.edu).

6. The Mayan Calendar – The Mayans were the first to predict the end of the world on December 21, 2012. They were very good at building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone, and they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out – thousands of years ago. Some are saying that since they were able to calculate the lunar cycle – their end of the world prediction must also be right on target (usetoday.com).

7. The Bible – Some Christian groups are proclaiming that interpretations of the Book of Revelation predict the date for the final battle between good and evil (Armageddon), will be in 2012 (gnmagizine.org).

Since I do not have a scientific background, I will refer you to Mr. Hawking concerning the first five scientific prophecies. To be fare he was quoted as saying: “We’re not saying there is no God, we’re saying there is no need for God to explain the universe, and I agree with him on that. I will briefly comment on ancient religions and their apocalyptic predictions, but will save the commentary for the sixth reason for the Mayan archeologist experts. This article will primarily focus on ancient religious manuscripts including biblical scriptures in an attempt to answer the following two questions and will be divided into two parts:

Have you ever wondered why people keep saying that in December of 2012 our society will become somehow different and that our society will go through the most difficult times in history and will also go through a period of enlightenment that will affect each one of us? The information is a little confusing. Which one is it? It cannot be both together and if it is then how could this be? With all of the confusion that is surrounding 2012 it would be a good idea to explain everything completely so that people will understand what to expect and to prepare themselves for it. I think it is a matter of individual choice. If a person decides that they are happy where they are at in life then they will not change. If another person hates whats happening in their lives, then they will surely get up and accept change because it will obviously change something perhaps for the better. Because of this dual circumstance in our society we face two possible outcomes from the coming 2012 event that will occur simultaneously.

Yes, the two information pieces do clash with one being good and the other bad but there is an explanation for this. Firstly, we must accept the fact that we are a negative people and that negativity permeates our entire society. We are negative because we are being bombarded with negative information from the news and television, our newspapers, our average phone call and even our neighbors and relatives who are often with a negative comment. We have not always been this way. A long time ago, we were not only positive and happy, we were a divine race of beings! The only input we ever received was positive and as a result we only gave that positive energy to everyone around us. This simple change has caused us to be cut off from our inheritance which is to be with God in paradise.

We have changed and this change has caused us to be in a permanent Hell in our minds. This is our present reality and this reality that we now live in is an altered reality from the reality that we were created to experience. Let me explain this to you clearly.

Our human mind when working properly, works at a very high frequency. This high frequency that it naturally was created to function at, let us have access to the highest part of the grid of consciousness with let us be with God in Heaven in our regular day to day life. We were only capable of joy and happiness because that is the only thing that resonates at that part of the grid. As a result of this, our society was a true utopia because we created it that way from our consciousnesses and as a result of that creation, we were able to manifest anything that we wanted instantly (as a group) because miracles are a normal part of daily life at a frequency that is extremely high – the frequency of Heaven!

The reason that we cannot have the fantasy like society that we all want now is because our collective minds’ frequency is too low. It is in fact so low that we are not only incapable of miracles like Jesus and Moses of the Christian Bible, but we cannot even experience basic happiness, which is presently by design. The powers that be have bombarded us with negative information (negative energy) in an effort to control us by controlling our frequency (in our minds). Through negative energies provided from various sources like the television and newspaper and of course the radio, where the songs that we listen to and enjoy help maintain us at this low frequency, they are able to control us. This technique has become known as ‘frequency control’ and is thousands of years old. We are trapped in a world of concern which is designed to create doubt in our minds and this doubt in our minds is what creates the common fear that we experience every day. The fear of what the neighbors might think, the fear of how our parents will react, the fear that they are to different from the norm, why even the fear – that we are afraid! It is intended to make us live in a world of doubt and this world of doubt IS the result of having a low frequency in our minds and in fact the lowest of frequencies that are possible to have.

Many people are discussing the world changes predicted for 2012. The Kabbalists have a their own ideas about the coming changes. Find out when they are coming and how to prepare for them. Their recommendations help you connect with God, change yoru consciousness and help achieve world transformation all at the same time.

Many people are making predictions about the year 2012. Some say the end of the world is coming. Some say the planet will undergo a transformation or humanity will experience a change in consciousness. Still others say that whatever you believe will happen on December 21, 2012, is exactly what you will experience at that time in history.

Why all the talk about 2012? That’s year on the Gregorian calendar when the Mayan calendar abruptly ends. Why the calendar stops or restarts on December 21, 2012 no one really knows, although lots of people have theories. However, the idea that humanity or the world at large is about to undergo some sort of transformation does not represent a new idea. For instance, the ancient Jewish mystics predict a change as well, but the world transformation they see coming doesn’t happen for another 231 years. That said, it’s already in its beginning stages.

The Jewish mystics, or Kabbalists say that according to the Jewish calendar, the world’s spiritual evolution can be likened to the seven days of the week. They equate the year 6,000 to the end of the sixth work day of the cosmic week and predict that that year marks the time when the world will enter Shabbat HaGadol, or the Big Sabbath, when 1,000 years of sacred time and space begin.

Currently the Jewish calendar has us at the year 5769. The Kabbalists would say, therefore, that it’s about 12:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, a time when Jews begin preparing in earnest for the Sabbath, which starts at sundown on Friday evening.
